Christi Luig is an Early Learning Specialist at Region 9 Education Service Center, where she supports Prekindergarten and Early Childhood Special Education programs across 37 districts. With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Christi has served as a Head Start, Prekindergarten, and ECSE teacher, as well as a behavior specialist. She holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is passionate about helping educators create developmentally appropriate, engaging learning environments that support the whole child.
Christi provides professional development, coaching, and compliance support to teachers and administrators, with a strong focus on social-emotional learning, inclusive practices, and improving child outcomes. She is dedicated to empowering educators to grow in their practice—ultimately making a lasting impact on young learners and their families.
Outside of her work, Christi enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, mahjong, mountain biking, hiking, and traveling. She is always looking for the next adventure to challenge her, give her inspiration and appreciate God's beauty in this world.
